What you can expect when Buying a 'Wadelee' Foal ...

Each and every foal is exceptionally well handled, as we find well handled foals are more trustworthy later on, are taught manners from day one and will make owning a Wadelee Pony a pleasure.

Our 2009, 2yo homebred gelding 'Wadelee Cartier' is used for float training new broodmares! At just 2yo he has 'been there done that' as he was a well handled foal, who was then shown at 5mths old, highlighting that what a Wadelee Pony is taught as a foal is with them for life.

These easy going, easy to manage ponies are what we aim to provide new owners. All foals (and their dams) are fed grain daily, provided with unlimited access to top quality pasture hay and Oaten hay and of course have a regular worming, vaccination and dental program. They are regularly floated while still on their Dam from property to property, so they learn interaction with new horses, are used to being floated, and have had many hours of work already put into them ready for their new competition homes.

'Red' is a stunning little fellow, he has got a stunning face and is perfectly marked. He should go 12hh, but could mature slightly under or slightly over this height. Red will suit a family that will campaign him at shows, pony club and pinto classes, as well as lead rein, and he will carry the exceptional temperament of both his parents.

Red carries a double cross to 'Salient Master Bronze' Welsh B, who is the Sire of both his Sire and Dam.

He will be sold branded and registered Part Welsh, eligible Pinto, Saddle Pony and of course EA if the new owners wish.

He will make a top Lead Rein Hunter Pony.
